We are delighted to announce that the International Workshop on In-situ & Advanced Microscopy for Functional Materials and Nanodevices (IAMNano 2027), hosted by the Korea Society of Microscopy, will be held at Hilton Gyeongju from May 17 (Monday) to May 19 (Wednesday), 2027.
IAMNano 2027 will bring together many world-renowned scholars and researchers in the fields of advanced microscopy, In-situ TEM, functional materials, and nanodevices. As in previous years, the workshop will feature outstanding plenary and invited lectures, along with vibrant poster sessions that encourage active scientific exchange and collaboration. In particular, poster presentations will provide valuable opportunities for in-depth one-on-one discussions on a broad range of emerging research topics.
The host city, Gyeongju, was the capital of the ancient Silla Kingdom one thousand years ago. Often referred to as “the museum without walls,” Gyeongju preserves a remarkable legacy of Buddhism, science, art, and cultural heritage cultivated throughout the Silla era. Owing to its extraordinary historical and cultural significance, Gyeongju has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage city.
With its rich historical atmosphere and timeless cultural heritage, Gyeongju provides an inspiring setting for scientific exchange and global collaboration. We sincerely look forward to welcoming you to IAMNano 2027 and sharing an exciting and memorable workshop together.
